This 40-day meditation practice, the Heart of Transformation, puts you in direct contact with the energy of spiritual upliftment and elevation. This is the energy of enlightenment, the turning toward the Light that brings healing to every level of the body and being. We are invited to work with conscious intention to help this energy move forward through us, knowing that the Divine responds instantly and in ways that are far larger and deeper than the human mind may always be able to anticipate. The Light works with us always—before, during, and after this 40-day meditation. The transformation that we set into motion through our practice continues on long after we complete our 40 days. We will notice some of the results immediately. We will open to other results as we become more clear and peaceful, more steady in our ability to align with the highest and the best that is available to us in every moment.

We are all invited to set an overall intention for the 40-day practice. We are invited to reflect on our overall intention, and to write it down on paper using pen or pencil. It could read something like:

Thanks to Divine Grace, in purity and humility, according to the highest good, I intend to open fully to pure Love, allowing the Divine to guide me in every moment, every breath, every heartbeat.

Or

Thanks to Divine Grace, in purity and humility, according to the highest good, I open myself to beautiful, graceful, brilliant healing on every level of my body and my being.

Or

Thanks to Divine Grace, in purity and humility, according to the highest good, I invite myself to celebrate the abundance in every moment, from the blood that pumps through my arteries, to the breath I breathe, to the plenitude that pours into my life on every level.

Or

Thanks to Divine Grace, in purity and humility, according to the highest good, I intend to adore the Divine totally, opening to receive and respond to infinite blessings that are shared with me now.

Or

Thanks to Divine Grace, in purity and humility, according to the highest good…. [any phrasing that calls to your heart, mind, and soul].

Write the intention down. Then set it aside for a few moments and turn your attention elsewhere. Then come back to your intention. Does it still reflect your highest and deepest aim for right now? If so, stay with it. If not, revise it, and repeat the process until your whole being says “Yes!” when you read the intention.
