Spiritual Question and Insights
Divine Life Church of Absolute Oneness
You have to find the feeling place within you. And that feeling place is so vast that it transcends anything that you can think about because it has nothing to do with even your loftiest thoughts. Your loftiest thought can prepare you for it. But I am self-persuaded that you know exactly where the feeling place is within you. It's called the heart. The pure in heart shall realize the Truth, the spirit of God, shall realize the creative power that is within them, shall realize the fruits of their creativeness.

To practice the presence, to feel the presence, you have to go to the feeling place within. How to tap into that feeling place? Think about something that really touched your heart. And it touched your heart because you allowed yourself to resonate with the depth of your being.

Now think of something negative. You'll very quickly find the feeling place called your emotional reservoir. It's always bubbling over. Why do we connect so quickly with anything negative? It's simple: We have become masters of creating negativity. When you feel negative emotion, you are experiencing your disconnection from the presence of God, from your place of well being. It's not that God has disconnected from you; you have chosen to focus on a negative emotion. And by choosing that, you are saying, "I'm not choosing to experience the love of God." When you choose to experience a negative emotion, you are actually choosing to disconnect from feeling well, from being connected with that wonderful, warm, radiant, vibrant, expansive Reality, that place of well being that is the heart of God within you.

Connect with what you love, what makes you feel peace, joy, fulfillment, and spend more time creating what you truly want to feel, and you will enter the feeling place where you can experience the presence of God. By infusing all actions, thoughts, and desires with the realization that God is ever present and active in everything and everyone and is blessing you this very moment, you are practicing the presence of God.
